Federico Santori - Born in 1991, he is an Italian pianist and composer, graduated in piano with Maestro Alessandro De Luca and in composition with Maestro Marco Della Sciucca at the “Alfredo Casella” Conservatory of Music in L’Aquila. As a pianist, he played in the Exegema Ensemble of the “Alfredo Casella” Conservatory and with the Schola Cantorum San Sisto of L’Aquila as an accompanying pianist. In addition to an assiduous solo and chamber music activity, he has served as a répétiteur for dance in private schools and high schools. As a composer, he has received commissions from the Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, the Società Aquilana dei Concerti B. Barattelli, the Associazione Amici della Musica 2000, the Associazione Nuova Consonanza and the Associazione Identità Musicali. He was among the three finalists of the XV National Arts Award and is a two-time winner of the Second Prize of the Casella Conservatory, “Composition” category (1st edition and 2nd edition). His scores are published by MeP. He is currently a choir artist in the Coro Lirico d’Abruzzo and has participated in numerous lyric-symphonic productions of the Teatro del Marrucino from 2018 to 2021; furthermore, he is the founder of the collective Bottega Sonora Ensemble, a group of young composers and performers who have been dedicated to the production and dissemination of contemporary music since 2022.
